CLI Applet Failover to Managed Device

The Uplogix Control Center (UCC) provides users with the capability to open SSH connections to Local Managers that pass through to the console port of a managed device via the CLI Applet button (blue “CLI” button to the left of the port on the UCC dashboard for a given Local Manager or on the Local Manager Port Details page).  This requires a user to log into the UCC, click on a port CLI applet button and provide his/her Uplogix password in the applet window in order to login to the Local Manager and connect to the CLI of a managed device.  Under normal circumstances, the CLI Applet establishes a SSH connection to the Uplogix Local Manager.  This CLI Applet Failover feature allows users to configure the CLI Applet such that it fails over to establishing a SSH connection directly to the managed device in the unusual event that the applet is unable to establish a SSH connection to the Uplogix Local Manager.
