How do I set the Local Manager's hostname?

The Local Manager's hostname can be changed from the CLI or through the Local Manager's Summary page on the Control Center.

Via Control Center

  1. Click on the Local Manager on the Inventory page
  2. Click IP in the Configuration section on the left side of the page
  3. Enter a hew hostname in the box marked Hostname:
  4. Click Save

The change will be reflected on the Local Manager after a successful heartbeat.

Via Command Line

Use the config system ip command to change the hostname.
