Why doesn't the Local Manager answer when I call it?

Dial-in access is disabled by default for security reasons. To enable this feature, use the config answer command from the modem resource. Here is the minimum configuration required:

[admin@UplogixLM]# modem
[admin@UplogixLM (modem)]# config answer
[config answer]# enable
[config answer]# allow all
[config answer]# exit
