How do I set up SNMP for the Uplogix Control Center?

The Uplogix Control Center (EMS) is configurable to report SNMP alarms, passed to it from its managed Uplogix Secure Remote Appliances, to an SNMP syslog server.  The free Kiwi Syslog Daemon is an example of one such server.

To configure this, in the Control Center's web interface, navigate to Administration and then Server Settings.  Fill in the IP address of the syslog daemon, and enter the port # on which the syslog daemon is listening for incoming logs.  Read community is an optional field, as are the secondary host names.

At this time, the Control Center does not support the use of MIBs to poll the UCC for SNMP traps.  MIBs are planned for a future release.
