When attempting to connect to the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the Uplogix Appliance you see the following message:
Connecting to system... Failed to initiate connection with 192.168.52.187. Failed to initiate connection with 192.168.52.187. Failed to initiate connection with 192.168.52.187. Retry count exceeded aborting login.
Possible Causes:
- No route to host. The CLI Applet runs locally on your workstation and therefore requires a valid route to the appliance.
- Port blocked by firewall
- Appliance is off
Some customers have used a socks proxy or NAT between the user networks and the Uplogix appliance. Check the applet settings in the Uplogix Control Center.
