On June 4, 2014, SSL certificates used by the Uplogix Local Managers and Uplogix Control Center expired. Heartbeat, the process by which data is securely exchanged between the LMs and Control Center, relies on these certificates for proper operation.
The Control Center will not process a Heartbeat from any device that does not have a valid certificate.
Who is affected?
This issue affects all Uplogix products running LMS versions 4.6 and below.
What are my options?
Upgrading your deployment (LMs and Control Center) to 4.7 or later will update the SSL certificates and restore Heartbeat functionality. Customers running LMS versions 4.5 and lower should read this article about upgrading to (and past) 4.6.

What if I don’t have an active maintenance contract?
If your deployment is not currently under maintenance, please contact your Account Executive for information about renewing your maintenance. Once an active maintenance contract is in place, your deployment can be upgraded to the latest version of code.
